History

1984

The Information Technology Group began with a contract for the US Coast Guard, and using our SBA 8(a) minority-owned/disadvantaged status, won contracts with the US Departments of Commerce and Agriculture for software development, training and technical support services.

1987

Federal contacting continued with the addition of FAA Central Region to provide computer operation support and to operate a Regional Mobile Training Center. Private sector customers included United Missouri Bank and University of Kansas Medical Center. An online interactive system for Kansas Rehabilitation Services was designed and implemented for the State of Kansas.

1993

A-S-K ITG won an SBIR grant to develop and test a Case Management System. The CMS template was applied in case management systems for the State of Kansas as well as other states. We became a small business partner with EDS and provided a wide variety of services and staff to the US Department of Agriculture for the Processed Commodities Inventory Management System, the Cotton Management System and Information Technology Support Services 1 & 2 (USDA/FSA).

2000

Integrated technical services, quality assurance and various support services were provided to the Departments of Transportation, Revenue, Administration and Labor for the State of Kansas as the new decade began. Software instruction continued to be provided for military personnel at Fort Carson, CO. A-S-K ITG continued to team with EDS.

2006

IT outsourcing became a strong niche, and ITG provided a full range of support resources that allowed customers to focus on their core business. A-S-K ITG became a teaming partner with SAIC to provide integration services in support of the USDA/Risk Management Agency. A-S-K ITG staff members were tasked with application development and enhancement, software and database support and help desk and computer operations.

2014

A-S-K ITG continued to work with SAIC and USDA as well as State of Kansas customers. Our staff augmentation services provide clients and teaming partners with hard-to-find skilled IT personnel who work under client direction to develop, maintain, manage and support business objectives and project goals.
